Primary School Age Requirement for Attempting S-AEIS (Supplementary Admissions Exercise for International Students)

This admission is mean for International students who do not have a place in a local school and who wish to seek admission into:

* Primary 2-4

They are eligible to take part in S-AEIS. 

There is no admissions to Primary 5 levels under S-AEIS in view of the short preparation time to national examination.

There are two tests for Primary level: 
* Primary 2 and 3 (P2/P3)
* Primary 4 (P4)

Registration Period will be from 3 to 26 January 2017.
The test date will be on 22 February 2017.

The age requirement for each level as follow:

Age as at 1st January of the Year of Admission	Appropriate Test	Content Level Tested	Possible Level / Outcome
7 to 7+	P2 / P3	P1 / P2	P2 or P1 or unsuccessful
8 to 8+	P2 / P3	P1 / P2	P3 or P2 or P1 or unsuccessful

10 to 10+	P4	P3	P4 or P3 or unsuccessful
11 to 11+	P4	P3	P4 or unsuccessful

MOE does not recommend admission to levels where international students will be more than two years older than their classmates.
